This is orchestrated by Professor Monroe Price at the Annenberg School’s Global Communication Studies Centre, Magdalena Wojcieszak at IE and others, including colleagues at from the Political Communication Divisions of the International Communication Association (ICA), the World Association of Public Opinion Research (WAPOR), International Political Science Association (IPSA), International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR), European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA). The event is a symposium, entitled ‘Transnational Connections: Challenges and Opportunities for Political Communication“, and will be held from 24-25 March 2010, at the IE University in Segovia, Spain. It is a beautiful location, but also a timely event that provides an opportunity to foster more international collaboration about the challenges to political communication on the Internet.
