New Media Innovations in Participatory Politics’ at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj, Romania, from the 25th through the 27th of June, 2010. I plan to participate and hope to present some of the themes from the Dagstuhl Conference I attended late this summer, develop some of the work I have been conducting on ‘The Fifth Estate’ and the Internet and politics more generally.

The conference seeks to critically assess developing wisdom about the political significance and implications of such innovations in the Internet and Web as Web 2.0.
A call for papers is now on the Web. I encourage you to consider submitting a paper or attending.
