			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tim Berners-Lee, delienated recently in <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7299875.stm">an interview  on the BBC</a> (<a href="http://adrianlai.vodpod.com/video/998645-bbc-news-technology-web-creator-rejects-net-tracking">video</a>) a possible future of the Internet:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Imagine that everything you are typing is being read by the person you are applying to for your first job. Imagine that it&#8217;s all going to be seen by your parents and your grandparents and your grandchildren as well.&#8221; </p></blockquote>
<p>At the OII, there are people working on privacy questions (<a href="http://dooooooom.blogspot.com/">Dr. Ian Brown</a>, for example). This is a task that it is going to be more and more important in the future. As more activities of our life are covered by the Net, more relevant is for everybody to be careful about what it is out there. So far, people do not realise how easy is to get personal information from it; new rules and social conventions are necessary to regulate this new flows of information that comes directly from us.</p>
