The writers of Bilbao-Limerick and emho, two Spanish blogs, have found out that the biography of new Minister of Culture, Ángeles González-Sinde, included on the website of the Ministry and the press release announcing the new government has been copied from Wikipedia. And this has been done infringing Wikipedia’s copyright (or copyleft) and the most basic manners of the Internet: source attribution. This is what Wikipedia says about its copyright:

Wikipedia content can be copied, modified, and redistributed if and only if the copied version is made available on the same terms to others and that acknowledgment of the authors of the Wikipedia article used is included (a link back to the article is generally thought to satisfy the attribution requirement).

Good move from a Minister that is meant to defend copyrights.
